Ernest Holmes

As a young man, Ernest Holmes (1880-1960), Doctor of Philosophy and self-taught man, met the fathers of the American New Thought: Emerson, Quimby, Mary Baker Eddy and Thomas Troward, who develop in their work a form of "applied metaphysics".

At the age of 25, he founded the Institute of Religious Studies or Mental Science in Los Angeles, California; the science of man, creator through his thoughts and his emotions.

His best-selling book, The Science of Mind has been republished over 25 times since 1940. It is the modern classic of the American psycho-spiritual movement.

With his book, The Science of Mind, Holmes "scientifically" sets out the principle of the creative power of Thought, which has been particularly well received in the business world
