Wallace D. WattlesWHO WAS WALLACE D. WATTLES?
Wallace D. Wattles was born in the United States in 1860. He experienced many setbacks and remained poor for a long time. Having started off as a farmer, he managed to become an acclaimed teacher specializing in the true nature of the Force of the Mind. Years of reflection and the application of the principles of the New Thought – which he studied through the works of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, Emerson and others – allowed him to completely transform his life and find prosperity. M. Wattles died in 1911, shortly after the publication of The Science of Being Well. His work has allowed thousands of students of the Force of the Mind to reach levels of success exceeding their ambitions. Among others, the great orator, Napoleon Hill – author of Think and Grow Rich – has expressed how indebted he had been to his pioneer work. Bibliography
